About Raclette
Raclette is the signature cheese dish of Swiss Alpine cuisine and traces its origin back many centuries to shepherds and farmers, who developed many ways to enjoy their delicious cheeses. While today some may prefer still to scrape cheese off a wheel in front of a campfire, others have since discovered that raclette served at home make a delicious, hearty meal, which at the same time, is highly sociable and perfect for entertaining family and guests.
Raclette Grills
It is no longer necessary to sit in front of the campfire to enjoy raclette. Modern, tabletop raclette grills allow up to 8 persons to heat and melt individual portions of raclette cheese. Use the top surface to grill tasty vegetables, meats, shrimp, etc.

Raclette Cheese
Our raclette cheese is produced from pasteurized cow's milk and then carefully cured up to 6 months. It is characterized by a firmly textured, pale-yellow body with scattered small holes. The natural rind is light brown. Raclette has a distinctive, aromatic flavor that intensifies when heated. We offer it in three convenient ways (loaf, wedge, half-moon). Each loaf, wedge, and half-moon is vacuum packed, which will keep the cheese fresh unopened under refrigeration for about 3 to 4 months. After opening, the raclette will last about 4 weeks.
